2001 BMW X5

A 2001 BMW X5 complete with Panasonic Video, Alpine power, Boston Acoustic speakers, Eclipse subs, and Clarion VCR.
The unfinished rear section showing the three Alpine amps, the Phoenix Gold bass cube, Lightning caps and wiring, and the Eclipse aluminum 12” subs in a ported box.
The indash monitor and DVD from Panasonic with full Dolby 5.1 needed a custom made dash kit which was later painted satin black to match the interior of the vehicle. Also, hidden in the top vents, is an Alpine center channel to complete the 5.1 setup.
This picture shows the unfinished amp rack. Vinyl was later applied matching the factory color of the interior. Notice the bent shape of the amp rack for that custom look.
The front of the BMW X5 with complete stereo system from Ralph’s Radio.
The trunk was accented with calypso blue neon lights around both the subs and the amp rack.
A side view of the truck with the neon turned on.
In the factory storage space on the drivers side, is the VCR with TV tuner for channel viewing through the indash monitor.
This picture shows the CD changer mounted in the glove box with the color matched dash panel around the monitor.
The motorized indash monitor in the closed position.
Until the neon is on, the amps remain hidden under the smoked glass.
With the neon on, the entire system components are visible.
The top view of the cargo area shown with the neon on.
The rear cargo area holds all the equipment including two 12” eclipse aluminum subs powered by Alpine amps and covered by a smoked glass plate.
